Cell Strainer - Size Supported Separation

Pluriselect offers the greatest variety of filtration devices. You can choose the perfect device for your sample preparation in meh sizes between 1 µm and 2000 µm, PET, nylon fibers, or stainless steel, sterile or non-sterile, small volumes up to 800 µL, in-line-strainer, or bottle top strainer, back-flush possibility or not…

All strainers are Sample Preparation Devices – They are NOT useful to separate cells of slightly different sizes. Mesh openings are three-dimensional “squares” as the result of waving, formed by fibers of >30 µm thickness. The cell has a very plastic membrane and squeezes through mesh openings that are much smaller than the cell diameter.

pluriStrainer® are one of the best cell strainers on the market with many additional features, missed in most comparable basic cell strainers. Furthermore, multiple mesh sizes are only available here, giving the option to find a wide range of application areas. It is the best choise for an affordable cell strainer system with flow control (in combination with Connector Ring).

pluriStrainer® Mini are the most flexible small cell strainer fitting in nearly any reaction tube (15 ml to 1.5ml, 24 / 48 well plates).

The multi-purpose ÜberStrainer gives the user the possibility to experiment with different volumes and ways to increase the flow.

The SnapCap family combines a 50 ml standard tube with an easy-to-handle strainer. It is the most economic device for simple filtration tasks.
