The pluriStrainer maxi (bottle top strainer) is suited for the filtration of cell cultures, cell culture media, sera, additives, buffers, fresh water samples, etc. Use the strainer to enrich cell clusters or spheroids and split the cluster into different-size fractions. A special channel system allows fast flow rates and high throughput for increased filtration efficiency due to its unique high-flow channel system. Equipped with a standard GL45 thread, the pluriStrainer maxi is available in 13 mesh sizes from 5 to 2000 µm. The various mesh sizes are color-coded as our other strainer products. The colorations help you to make your laboratory work much easier.

Details

The pluriStrainer maxi can connect to GL32 or GL80 bottles via our adaptor. The various mesh sizes and the unique stackability of the pluriStrainer maxi allows to build a filter cascade and separate sample material into different fractionations. Furthermore, the pluriStrainer maxi has a special lid for an automated refilling. The sample material can be drawn directly from the sample vessel into the strainer via this lid. A tubing port enables low pressure for filtration and automated refilling.
